Teacher’s day celebrations

When Dr.Radhakrishnan took the office of the second president of India in 1962, his students approached him to seek permission to celebrate September 5th as a special day.
Dr. Radhakrishnan instead made a request of them to observe September 5th as Teachers day, to recognise the contribution of teachers to the society.
SSPUC in associated with SSCE celebrated 59 teachers day and 133rd birthday of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The celebration started with invocation song. Dr.Arunkumar R Management Representative welcome to gathering, Dr.B.Shadaksharappa , Principal, SSCE, given presidential address.
Sri K Anandaraju Principal, SSPUC, addressed the gathering. Vote of thanks was proposed by Prof. Venugopal, ECE. Sri K Patel, PRO and Sri Gajendiran , CAM were present and graced the occasion the celebration ended with sweet distribution.
